Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a form of muscular dystrophy affecting about 1 in 3,600 boys, resulting in muscular degeneration and eventual death. Females rarely show signs of the disease.
The Fighting Duchenne Foundation conducted a fundraiser with some terrific rewards. Read all about it here. Apparently, it needs ongoing help.
The goal for the fundraiser was $150,000. Done. In fact, over the top.
There’s still a chance, however, for you to help. To learn more about the research to find a cure for Duchenne and to support those efforts, just click on the Fight DMD icon above.
