Book Couples. I thought this was a rather unique subject for the week. I’ve never really thought of it before. However, I now have 2 couples that I adore absolutely.
Catherine and Heathcliff in Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights. I adore them for their twisted obsessions. Of course, my short stories are also twisted. I do twisted very well, indeed.
Tom and Daisy Buchanan in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. Never have I known two more reckless and selfish people. I adore these two because they lived with reckless abandon. At times, I wish I could.
Okay. Maybe my choice is a little different from yours. As the French say, C’est la Vie!
Thanks Dani and Jackie for another chance to express myself without too much regret. The weekly memes are really fun. As I write, I don’t worry about social media, SEO, and all the other trappings of blogging.
It’s just me, writing.
